Erasmus Club  made the Omenatarha residents happy by singing Christmas carols -

Erasmus -oppilaat tuomassa joulua vanhainkotiin

Hi everyone!

The Erasmus Club went to visit the elderly people at Omenatarha assisted living on Monday December 7. Our students and teachers made the residents happy by singing Christmas carols, reciting poems, playing the cello and piano, and by handing out Christmas cards made by our students. The smiles were wide when the old folks told us how happy they were for our visit. We got the residents to sing us a song too! We will be visiting other parts of the facility next Monday again and spreading Christmas joy to more elderly people who cannot live in their own homes any more.

Erasmus-kerho vieraili Omenatarhan palvelukodissa. Oppilaat ja opettajat lauloivat joululauluja, lausuivat runoja ja soittivat selloa ja pianoa tyytyväiselle yleisölle. Asukkaiden leveät hymyt kertoivat, että vierailu ilahdutti, ja yleisö innostui laulamaan mukana. Uusi vierailu tehdään seuraavalla viikolla toisella osastolla.
